Great place for everyone to spend a day swimming in lake Wörthersee specially for you and your family. If you get hungry, the Restaurant offers a great variety of food for everyone. Maybe we see each other relaxing at the lake side.
The best: the possibility of using the parking (including the underground one) of the Casino Velden the whole day until 8pm for only €3 if you bring your parking ticket stamped from the Strandbad Velden (2-3 minutes by foot), even if you have entered for free in that bad (as a benefit of your Velden Card). Other positive point is that you can bring your own beach chairs, but not the parasol which you can rent for €2,5. The worse: the unpleasant attitude of the lady at the ticket office. Therefore one star less.
Small garden with access to the lake. Welcoming us we found an incredible rude and “entitled“ staff at the front desk. The place was overcrowded and it was definitely difficult to keep the 1m security distance. If renting an umbrella or bed you will have to carry it yourself to the place you desire (through the maze of a sunbathing customers). You also need to be lucky to find an sun umbrella support, randomly scattered in the garden. This support weighs around 20 kg. You will also need to bring all back to receive deposit. Paying around 20 euros for such a poor service (2 adult entrances, 2 beds and 1 umbrella) was rather disappointing. I’m not coming back.
I like the water, the beach, everything.
Nice crowded paid beach in Velden am Wörthersee. It was nice to come. The person in the reception was nice. I disliked the music which was quite loud and didn't allow to relax, but it would be impossible to relax without music anyway.

Beautiful place for leasure and take some sun. Green grass for resting, clean wardrobe for change, if you want to swim and have some beach experience I recommend
It's the only public Access to the water but not enough space in the high season . If your hotel don't have access to the water this is the place to go
